Your actions can and will affect, yourself, your family and others. While you have the right of self-defense. You are obligated to be responsible in your actions. A person does not need a CPL to use a firearm in self-defense. They need a firearm, so the laws of self defense with a firearm apply to all. A CPL is convenience, the convivence for you to make on the spot decisions regarding life and death. You hold more power that the state or federal government . You could be the judge, jury and executioner. Justifiable self-defense is not murder or criminal offenses if it is justifiable Self-defense. Either way the use of deadly force in self-defense will be the defining moment that can have far reaching consequences on you and your family. There are no do-overs or time-outs, no wishing this was not happening to you. How you react and what you do will depend on your training and experience, which will give you the confidence to make the right decision under a demanding situation. While no amount of training by anyone can guarantee how a person will act under the stress of deadly force self- defense. It will help prepare the person to more likely select the best options of use of force tactics.
